1. Introduction
Echoez (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a social media growth analytics app. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:

Account information: Email address and password when you create an account (stored securely via AWS Cognito).
•
Profile information: Display name, account type, goals, and industry you provide during onboarding.
•
Usage data: Chat messages with AI specialists, analysis results, and app interactions.
•
Connected social accounts: When you connect an X (Twitter) or TikTok account, we access your public profile and engagement metrics (such as follower counts and post engagement) to generate your Growth Score.
•
Purchase data: When you buy credits, the Apple App Store or Google Play processes the payment and we receive a purchase confirmation and your purchase history. We never receive your payment-card details.
•
Device information: Device type, operating system, and crash reports (via Sentry) to improve app stability.
3. How We Use Your Information

To provide AI-powered social media growth recommendations.

To run Growth Score analyses on your social presence.

To personalize your experience based on your goals and industry.
•
To improve app stability and fix bugs (crash reports).

To process your in-app credit purchases.
4. AI and Data Processing
Your chat messages and analysis data are processed by AI models (OpenAI GPT-4o) to generate recommendations. We do not use your data to train AI models. Your conversations are stored in our database and are only accessible to you.
5. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on AWS (Amazon Web Services) in the sa-east-1 region.
•
All data is encrypted at rest (DynamoDB SSE, S3 SSE-AES256).
•
Authentication tokens are stored securely using platform-native secure storage.
•
API communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services (sub-processors):
•
Amazon Web Services (AWS): Authentication (Cognito), database, file storage, and compute — hosted in the sa-east-1 (Brazil) region.
•
OpenAI: AI models for chat, Growth Score analysis, and content moderation. Your data is not used to train AI models.
•
Apple App Store & Google Play (via RevenueCat): In-app purchase processing for credit packs. Payment is handled by Apple and Google; we never receive your payment-card details.
•
X (Twitter) and TikTok: When you connect an account, we fetch your public engagement metrics to generate your Growth Score.
•
Sentry: Crash and error reporting.
•
PostHog: Product analytics (you can opt out in Settings → Privacy).
•
Expo: Push-notification delivery.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app (Settings → Delete account), via our account deletion page, or by contacting us. Account deletion immediately blocks access and starts a background cleanup, which we aim to complete within 30 days. Recovery backups can retain prior data for up to 35 days. We keep a minimal deletion record (account identifier and deletion timestamps) for 40 days after cleanup to prevent erased data from becoming active again during recovery. Deleted accounts cannot be recovered. A pseudonymized fraud-prevention record (a keyed hash of connected social account identifiers) may be retained for up to 180 days after deletion.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:

Withdraw consent for data processing.
9. Children’s Privacy
Echoez is not intended for users under 16 years of age, and you must confirm you are at least 16 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
